How much does Talkio AI cost?

Right now prices range from $9/mo to $49/mo. All features are included in all plans, but more expensive plans have higher usage limits

No, all plans are paid. However, there’s a 7-day free trial that can be cancelled anytime. No strings attached.

Who is behind Talkio AI?

Talkio AI was built by me, Theis Frøhlich, a developer, designer and indie entrepreneur from Denmark.

I am primarily known for my popular browser extension Voice Control for ChatGPT, which has more than 400 ,000 active users. I have a track record of making digital products related to sound and voice, and have previously worked at headphone and audio company Jabra. And then I am a language enthusiast, currently trying to learn french.

Talkio AI is a product of Aidia ApS. I own and run the company, which is listed in the European Union. Aidia ApS complies to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in order to deliver a safe and secure experience for all users.

Is payment secure?

Yes, we use Stripe for financial processing. We do not store any of your credit card information.

Where is my data stored?

Your data is stored on servers in the European Union: Microsoft (voice and data), Auth0 (authentication), Stripe (payments). Furthermore, we use OpenAI’s GPT-3 language model to power the AI. This data is processed in the United States.

Can I get a refund?

The free trial can be cancelled anytime, but if you forgot to cancel the trial we can refund you within 14 days provided that you didn’t use the service after the trial ended. Please contact us at support@talkio.ai

Can I get a refund?

Talkio AI works in all modern browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. It also works on mobile browsers. However, the iPhone cannot auto-play audio from web applications so read-aloud features must be manually triggered in Safari for iOS.

Do you use GPT-3.5 or GPT-4?

Talkio AI uses both. GPT-3.5 is faster so we use this for the chat features to provide a more fluent experience. GPT-4 is more powerful, but slower, so we use this for the feedback features.

Do I need to bring my own API key or login for ChatGPT?

No, everything is included in the price and Talkio AI handles the connection under the hood so you don’t have to worry about it.

How is Talkio AI different from Voice Control for ChatGPT?

Talkio AI offers a coherent experience with ChatGPT customized for language learning. It also offers more features including pronunciation assessment, premium voice technologies, integrated feedback and translations.
